Desire Mire, the firm’s recently retired officer manager, is recognized for her 28 years of outstanding service to the law firm. Ms. Mire began working with the firm in 1994 as legal secretary to then associate Albert J. Derbes IV. The firm wishes her well as a new grandmother.
Sagona appointed to serve on Estate Planning and Administration Advisory Commission of the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization
Beau P. Sagona was recently appointed to serve a three year term on the Estate Planning and Administration Advisory Commission of the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. The advisory commission drafts and administers the examination for lawyer qualification as an Estate Planning and Administration specialist.

Scheinuk and O’Neill are Newest Members of the Derbes Law Firm
Jared S. Scheinuk and Bryan J. O’Neill are now members of the Derbes Law Firm, LLC effective January 1, 2023. Mr. Scheinuk joined the firm in 2017 after previously working in Monroe, Louisiana. Mr. O’Neill joined the firm in 2016 shortly after graduating from Loyola Law School.
