David M. Serio
David M. Serio represents clients across the bankruptcy code, including chapters 7, 11, and 13. His clients include debtors, trustees, and creditors, and he handles claims, contested matters and adversarial litigation. David also advises clients on and prepares Qualified Domestic Relations Orders. David’s practice also includes end of life matters, such as estate planning and succession administration and litigation.
Mr. Serio attended Loyola Law School in New Orleans, where he was a member of the International Law Society. During that time, he studied abroad in Austria and Costa Rica. In addition to his civil law degree, David earned certificates in common law and international law from Loyola Law School.
Outside of practice, David has coached football and track and field at his alma mater, Holy Cross High School. David has also tutored children in reading for the START (Start the Adventure in Reading) Program based in New Orleans. On the weekends David satisfies his fit watch goals by keeping up with his two sons.
